If you are currently studying a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme and wish to become a planning engineer, the APE is offering a great opportunity with free student membership. The student membership will help you build a strong career and set you on the right milestone path in your career.

You can move up to Professional membership after starting at student membership during your course. You will be assisted with career advice from our industry experts along the way.

Who is Eligible?

You must be able to confirm that you are following a degree or an accredited programme at any university in the world. We accept students worldwide into our student membership programme.

You can also apply for student membership if you are working as an apprentice or are a trainee with the direct supervision of a planning engineer.

Similarly, you can apply for student membership if you have recently enrolled onto one of our accredited courses by our partner learning providers.

 

Total Costs:

The cost of student membership is totally free. You can apply through our website. When you apply you must submit a letter with proof of your educational degree, apprenticeship or other training programme. Once you have completed the degree, you can apply as a Professional Review Candidate until you are qualified to become a Professional Member. Your professional relationship with the APE will benefit your progression to professional membership at the correct timeline in your career.
