  1. Membership Terms

By joining the APE as a member, you will enter a legally binding contract with us and must adhere to our Code of Professional Conduct or you may risk dismissal without compensation. It is advised you review your membership terms and conditions regularly, since we retain the right to change these at any time. We also reserve the right to change our membership prices.

When it comes to your membership renewal, you will receive details near your renewal date which will explain any updates to our terms, your date to renew by and any payment updates. Should you wish to cancel your membership, you must send us a written agreement at least 10 working days before your renewal date informing us of your wish to cancel. If you wish to cancel your membership at any other time, you may still do so, but we are not required to refund you if the stated amount of notice has not been given.

The benefits of each membership will vary depending on the grade of membership. The APE reserve the right to change these benefits at any time without given notice. Members are required to adhere to the CPD policy and complete CPD as required to show their commitment to the industry.

  1. Refunds

Any and all refunds are subject to the Association’s discretion. Refunds will only be issued if written proof is given of: any payments made due to company or individual error, any overpayments regarding membership rank, or if a deceased member’s representative calls upon a refund of the existing membership term. The APE endeavour to refund all outstanding monies within 30 working days of confirmation.
